Finance Minister Brian Lenihan has insisted that he is not under pressure from his EU colleagues to raise Ireland's corporation tax rate of 12.5%.

Yesterday, MEPs in the European Parliament signed a written declaration calling for corporation tax across all member states to be increased to a flat rate of 25%.
