Gardaí appeal for information on Finglas double murder

Gardaí at Finglas investigating the murder of two men are appealling for the public's assistance.

They are keen to speak to anyone that was at the Tesco petrol station, Clearwater Shopping Centre, between 11pm and 11.45pm last night when the shooting occurred.

In particular anyone that may have noticed a Toyota Avensis car registration number 05 D 86211 and a 06 D registration saloon type car, possibly a BMW, in or around the forecourt or general area before or after the incident.

The investigation team are keen to trace the movements and locate the 06 D saloon car.

A post mortem is being conducted by the Deputy State Pathologist Doctor Michael Curtis.

Up to 60 Gardaí along with officers from the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation are involved in the investigation.
