Man critical following Cork crash

A 48-year-old man remains in a critical condition this morning after being hit by a car in Cork yesterday evening.

It happened on the N25 Cork to Waterford Road at Water Rock, near the Midleton exit.

The victim was taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment.

Traffic at the scene will be down to one lane eastbound until around 9am this morning.
