FF ministers gather for emergency talks as Gilmore threatens motion of no-confidence

An emergency meeting of Fianna Fáil ministers is underway this evening as the Government's survival hangs by a thread.

The Greens earlier effectively pulled the plug on the Government, saying an election must take place at the end of January once the Budget is passed and agreement is reached on the EU/IMF bailout package.
