Teen in court charged with arson

An 18-year-old has appeared before Limerick District Court charged with arson and criminal damage.

Gerard Gamell of Craeval Park, Moyross, Limerick was arrested by gardaí last Saturday after a petrol bomb attack on a house in Moyross.

A woman who was inside the house at the time escaped injury.

Judge Tom O'Donnell ordered that the accused receive medical attention for facial injuries.

Mr Gamell was remanded in custody to appear in court again on November 17.
