Two men are due to go on trial this morning accused of murdering a man in Co Meath on St Stephen's Day three years ago.

Two men are due to go on trial this morning accused of murdering a man in Co Meath on St Stephen's Day three years ago.

Dubliner Derek Hutch of Chapel Farm Avenue, Lusk and Alan Donohue of Ashdale Crescent, Ashbourne have pleaded not guilty to murdering Barry Maguire at Miltown Estate in Ashbourne.

Both men also deny intentionally or recklessly causing serious harm to Damien Carty on the same occasion.

Their trial at the Central Criminal Court is expected to last up to four weeks
