Two road accident victims named
Gardaí have today named two people who died in separate road crashes in Roscommon and Meath at the weekend.
Nessa Byrne, 55, from Creagh, Ballinasloe in Co. Roscommon, formerly of Tuam in Co, Galway died when she was struck by a car on the November 5 on the Athlone Road.
Vidas Mielkaitis, 30, of Cavan Street, Oldcastle in Co Meath died when the car he was a passenger in was involved in a three-car crash on the Virginia Road in Oldcastle the following day.
