Gardaí appeal for witnesses to Tallaght shooting

Gardaí are appeal for information following shooting incident in the Tallaght area of Dublin yesterday evening.

At around 8pm last night two men aged in their 30s were injured when at least one man approached the car they were sitting in and opened fire at Fernwood Avenue, Springfield, Tallaght.

They were taken to Tallaght Hospital where they were treated for injuries which are described as not life threatening.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone in the vicinity of Fernwood Avenue and the Springfield area at the time of this incident to contact them on 01 666 6000.
