Two in court in connection with Peter Gunn murder

Two men are due in court in Dublin this morning charged in connection with the murder of Peter Gunn last year.

The 29-year-old from Glasnevin was found dead at Dunsoghly Lane in The Ward on January 15, 2009.

He had been stabbed to death.

Peter Gunn - a separated father of two - had been missing for 11 days when his body was found.

He was last seen with a group of people in Dublin's north inner city on January 4.

His decomposed remains were found in a ditch at Dunsoghly Lane in The Ward on January 15.

A post mortem examination revealed he had been stabbed to death, and had wounds in the chest and back.

Two men in their 30s are due before Blanchardstown District Court this morning charged in connection with his murder.
