New teachers will pay more to the pension scheme in contributions than they will receive from it in benefits, it was claimed today.

A report being released today by teaching unions, the ASTI, INTO and TUI, also highlighted that the value of teachers' pensions have previously been adjusted downwards in 1995, 2004 and again in 2009.
