The army bomb squad has been called out to deal with a suspicious device in Dublin this evening.

The army bomb squad has been called out to deal with a suspicious device in Dublin this evening.

Kilmainham Gardaí requested assistance after the device was found on St Anthony's Road in Rialto.

The area has been sealed off.

Earlier, the army bomb disposal team made safe a bomb in Tallaght, south west Dublin.
