Businessman Jim Kennedy has appeared in the High Court looking to lift a freezing order prohibiting the sale of land owned by Jackson Way in Carrickmines in South Dublin.

It is argued that the order secured by the Criminal Assets Bureau in 2006 should be lifted in relation to 68 acres of agricultural land, as this was not rezoned, and is not the subject of unjust enrichment proceedings.
