Gardaí are at the scene of a serious road accident in Co Carlow that happened at around 7.30am this morning.

The Leighlinsbridge/Royal Oak Rd remains closed before Bagenalstown.

Motorists being diverted onto the M9 at Paulstown and through Bagenalstown village.
