One of the Mid West's largest employers is expected to confirm a cut in its workforce this morning.

There are fears that aircraft maintenance firm Shannon Aerospace will confirm as many as 100 job losses when management meets staff later.

Shannon Aerospace was founded in 1989 and is part of the Lufthansa Technik Group.

The company employs over 700 staff, including trainees.
