Moriarty tribunal to hear evidence from Danish expert

The Moriarty Tribunal is to sit next week to hear evidence from a Danish consultant who played a key role in the 1995 competition that was won by Esat Digifone.

The Moriarty Tribunal is to sit next week to hear evidence from a Danish consultant who played a key role in the 1995 competition that was won by Esat Digifone.

Michael Andersen had previously declined to give evidence to the inquiry, which was set up to investigate the awarding of a second mobile phone license to Esat in 1995.

However it is understood that Mr Andersen now is willing to give evidence and will travel to Dublin next week.
