A Belfast man today opted to be tried in a Dublin court for the murder of a taxi driver in the North over three years ago.

A Belfast man today opted to be tried in a Dublin court for the murder of a taxi driver in the North over three years ago.

Gerard Mackin was given the option of trial in the North or the Republic by the Special Criminal Court today and he told them:”I’d like to be tried in this jurisdiction.”
