Bomb disposal experts called in after discovery of Waterford device
Army bomb disposal experts have made safe an improvised explosive device discovered in Waterford.
The team was deployed to a location on the Dungarvan Road, two miles from Waterford city centre following a request by gardaí just after 11pm last night.
No controlled explosion was carried out.
The scene was declared safe at 4am today.
