Kilkenny and Cork crash victims named

Gardaí have named the two people who died in separate crashes in Kilkenny and Cork yesterday.

Kay Moore, 46, from Piltown in Co Kilkenny died following a collision in Kildalton, Piltown Co Kilkenny.

Ms Moore's car, in which she was travelling alone, lost control and collided with a ditch.

In the Cork accident, 41-year-old Gerard Barrett, from Farranree in Cork City, died following a collision with an articulated truck at Rathduff on the main Cork-Mallow road.
