Cork suburb residents demand action on "dangerous" road
Residents in Fairhill, Co Cork are demanding urgent action be taken after two children were knocked down on a busy road.
Two eigh-year-olds were hit by a truck near their homes at Sunvalley Drive on Tuesday afternoon.
One of them, a young boy, suffered serious head injuries and remains in a critical condition in Cork University Hospital.
Locals will hold a protest tomorrow where they'll demand that action be taken to address the amount and speed of traffic on the road.
