Dunbar begins appeal against conviction
A court has begun hearing Ronnie Dunbar's appeal against his conviction for the manslaughter of troubled Sligo teenager Melissa Mahon in September 2006.
The 45-year-old from Rathbraughan Park was sentenced to life in July last year for killing the 14-year-old whose remains were dumped in the River Bonnet.
His lawyers are querying the reliability of the evidence of Dunbar's two teenage daughters who testified for the prosecution at his trial.
