A 20-year-old man charged with assaulting a Polish man in Dublin, who later died in hospital, has been refused bail and remanded in custody.

Edward Byrne with an address at the YMCA in Dublin 8 appeared before Cloverhill District Court this afternoon on a charge of assaulting Lukasz Rzeszutko.
