Michelle Morrison granted full hearing in planning dispute

The High Court has granted Van Morrison's wife Michelle a full hearing in a legal action over planning.

The former model has brought a challenge to a decision by Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council over a neighbour's rebuild beside her Dalkey home in Co Dublin, which she says has affected her privacy.

Judge Michael Hanna, who has already warned about the high cost of what he called the "speculative" nature of the case, said his advice in the context of a full hearing is now even more "stark and real".
