Lowry threatens to withdraw support from Govt
Another independent TD who supports the Government is warning about the future of his vote.
Former Minister Michael Lowry has said he cannot support the Coalition if any cuts are threatened for Clonmel Hospital in his neighbouring Tipperary South constituency.
But he said he will not support a Fine Gael motion tonight opposing health cuts because he said it is "ill-timed and unhelpful".
Mr Lowry - who met Minister Mary Harney this evening - said she assured him that his deal for investment in Nenagh hospital remains on track.
