Gardaí investigate after man found with serious injuries

A man has been found with serious injuries in an industrial estate in Dublin.

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating the incident at Newtown Industrial Estate in Coolock this morning.

A 27-year-old man, who is believed to be Polish, was discovered on a road in the industrial estate and was removed to Beaumont Hospital where he is believed to be in a critical condition.

The man was on his way to work in the industrial estate.

Gardaí, who were called to the scene about 5am this morning, have preserved the area for technical examination.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was on the Malahide Road, between the Hilton Hotel and Darndale Roundabout, or anyone who was in the Newtown Industrial Estate between 4am and 5am this morning, to contact them at Coolock Garda Station on 01 666 4200.
