Two questioned in connection with Longford Fire
Gardaí in Longford are questioning two 21-year-old men after a 12-year-old girl was seriously injured in a house fire in Longford Town.
The blaze broke out at the house in Pauric Colum Heights between 11.30pm and midnight last night.
It is understood a number of petrol bombs had been thrown at the house.
The girl received burns and was rushed to Mullingar General Hospital but was later transferred to Crumlin Children's Hospital in Dublin where she is said to be in a stable condition.
