Suspect device declared a hoax

A suspect device found in Dublin earlier today has been declared a hoax.

The alarm was raised just before 9am this morning after it was found on Oliver Plunkett Avenue in the Monkstown Farm area.

The area was sealed off and nearby houses were evacuated.

The Army Bomb Disposal team attended the scene and the device was declared a hoax at around 11am.
