Cowen: I understand Anglo anger

Taoiseach Brian Cowen said today that he accepts the public shock and anger over the scale of the bailout for Anglo Irish Bank.

The Central Bank today revealed the final cost to the taxpayer will be at least €29.3bn - and could rise to €34bn in a worst case scenario.
