Hundreds given free check-ups as part of cancer campaign
Around 2,100 people attended dental hospitals in Cork and Dublin for a free check-up today as part of a campaign aimed at raising awareness of certain types of cancer.
"Due to the huge public response, the hospitals were unable to see a further 1,000 people who will be directly invited to attend for a checkup shortly," organisers of Mouth, Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Day said.
