Energy providers to appear before Oireachtas Committee

Bord Gais and the ESB will appear before an Oireachtas Committee later over rising prices and disconnections.

Last week, both companies warned of significant increases in the number of customers in arrears, with Bord Gais saying we are entering a "social recession".
