The National Consumer Association has renewed its alert about a quantity of faulty immersion cylinders sold in Ireland.

The National Consumer Association has renewed its alert about a quantity of faulty immersion cylinders sold in Ireland.

The Association is trying to trace 500 GeminoX Ebs immersion water cylinders which are at risk of overheating and possibly causing a fire.

They were primarily sold in the Cork and Kerry region.

Households who may have purchased this particular brand are being advised to stop using it immediately and contact the company helpline to arrange for a safety inspection and re-fit.
