A Turkish national accused of causing criminal damage to a kebab outlet in Cork city centre was brought before Cork District Court today.

The case followed reports of a three-hour stand-off between gardaí and a man who allegedly had petrol with him at Istanbul, 75 Oliver Plunkett Street, Cork, on Thursday night, September 23.
