Gardaí investigating the murder of a father of two in Cork are trying to establish his last known movements.

Gardaí investigating the murder of a father of two in Cork are trying to establish his last known movements.

The body of 62-year old Michael Healy was found by his brother in his flat at Rocksprings Terrace in St Luke's Cross yesterday morning.

His family had become concerned as he hadn't been seen for a number of days.

A post mortem revealed he suffered a head injury.

Gardaí are searching the scene for evidence and have removed his taxi from outside his home which is currently being examined.
