SIPTU: Govt action on jobs 'better late than never'

The head of the country's largest trade union SIPTU has said the Government's renewed effort on job creation and protection "is better late than never".

The Taoiseach Brian Cowen has said he wants to ensure there is the sharpest possible focus on job creation across all parts of Government.
