Marks & Spencer have announced plans to open a second store in Cork and create up to 100 new jobs.

Marks & Spencer have announced plans to open a second store in Cork and create up to 100 new jobs.

The new 15,000 sq ft will open in Douglas Village Shopping Centre in November 2010 and will be the 21st Marks & Spencer store in the Republic of Ireland.

Jonathan Smith, Head of Ireland, Marks & Spencer, said: "We’re delighted to be opening our second store in Cork .We believe this is in a great store location in Douglas, complementing our City Centre offer on Patrick’s Street."
