Survey reveals range in price of home heating oil

A new survey from the National Consumer Agency has shown big discrepancies in the price of home heating oil.

The results show the average price for a thousand litres of kerosene was €670 or 67 cent a litre.

The lowest average price was found in Drogheda in Co. Louth at just €655.

However, the highest price was in South Dublin where one supplier was charging €720.
