Gardaí quiz two after Galway 'hit-and-run'

Gardaí in Galway are questioning two men in connection with a alleged hit-and-run incident in the city.

A woman in her 40s was seriously injured after she was struck by a car while crossing the Headford Road yesterday afternoon.

The driver of the car left the scene.

Two men, one in his forties and one in his fifties, are being questioned in connection with the incident.
