Enda Kenny said today that he is not leading a broken party trying to fix a broken country.

Enda Kenny said today that he is not leading a broken party trying to fix a broken country.

The Fine Gael leader is addressing his Parliamentary Party in Waterford this afternoon, putting them on an election footing.

He says the country cannot afford Fianna Fáil any longer.

Despite the wounds of the botched heave against him not being fully healed, Enda Kenny is adamant his party is now fully united to be the next Government.

"Fine Gael is united in its effort and its concentration to deal with the problems of our country," said Kenny.
