Taoiseach Brian Cowen said today that no decision has been taken on whether to hold the three outstanding by-elections early next year.

Taoiseach Brian Cowen said today that no decision has been taken on whether to hold the three outstanding by-elections early next year.

Mr Cowen was responding to media reports suggesting the Government is preparing to hold the elections, along with the childrens' referendum and the Dublin mayoral election, next March.
