'Our grandchildren will be paying for Anglo mess'

Almost three quarters of Irish people believe Anglo Irish Bank will bankrupt the country and bring down the Government, according to a poll in today's Sunday Independent.

It emerged earlier in the week that the final cost to the taxpayers could reach €35bn.
