Almost 2,000 men contacted abuse group last year

Up to 2,000 men contacted a group which provides support to male victims of domestic abuse last year.

The figure is contained in the annual report for 2009 from AMEN.

As well as mental and physical abuse, AMEN Manager Niamh McGrath, said some women won't let their partners have any say in their domestic finances.
