Abused men's support group to release annual report

The voluntary group which provides support to male victims of domestic abuse is launching its first annual report this morning.

The report from AMEN, which was established in 1997, contains the types of abuse disclosed by clients as well as the type of services offered by the group.

AMEN manager Niamh McGrath said men have contacted them with reports of verbal and physical abuse.

She attributes the surge in calls to the difficult economic times.
