Young Farmer of the Year award heads east

The prestigious Young Farmer of the Year awarded has today been awarded to Paul Kehoe from Gorey in Co Wexford.

The prestigious Young Farmer of the Year awarded has today been awarded to Paul Kehoe from Gorey in Co Wexford.

Kehoe is a beef and livestock farmer and an active member of the IFA's national livestock committee.

IFA President John Bryan commended the high calibre of candidates in this year's competition.

The runner-up spot went to Offaly man Mattie Moore, while John Joyce from Co Tipperary scooped the second runner-up prize.
