Upgrade works at the M50 motorway in Dublin will officially end today after four years.

Upgrade works at the M50 motorway in Dublin will officially end today after four years.

Transport Minister Noel Dempsey will open the final piece of the upgrade - the N3 Interchange - later this morning.

The €1bn project, which involved removing the West-link toll barrier, was completed on budget and ahead of schedule.
