Receiver appointed to North Dublin apartment complex

A receiver has been appointed to the Priory Hall Apartment complex in North Dublin.

Dublin City Council recently acquired 27 units in the complex for social and affordable housing.

Dublin North East Labour Councillor, Seán Kenny said he was concerned by the fact that there is some unfinished work in the complex.

"I'm asking the receiver to issue a statement saying that he will be assessing the unfinished work with a view to completing it, (particularly) in relation to fire safety issues.

Mr Kenny also called for the completion of an unfinished road at the complex "which is itself a major road connecting Belmayne with the new Clongriffin Dart station".
