The Green Party has changed its position on the fate of Anglo Irish Bank and is now seeking a 'quicker wind down' of the bank.

As the Cabinet prepares to meet on Wednesday, it is expected that Green Ministers John Gormley and Eamon Ryan will tell Government colleagues that their party no longer supports plans to split Anglo into a good and bad bank, or an orderly wind down.
