Young drivers 'five times more likely to die'

Ireland's young drivers are five times more likely to die on the country's roads than their more experienced counterparts, it has been claimed.

The statistic is contained in a review of crashes released by the Road Safety Authority, which also shows weekends are the deadliest time of the week on the roads.
