Gardaí arrest man with gun and ammunition in Dublin

A man in his thirties has been arrested after Gardaí discovered a firearm and ammunition during a planned search of a house in Tallaght.

The handgun, shot-gun cartridges, pepper spray and a balaclava were seized after the house was raided earlier today.

The man was arrested at the scene and is being questioned at Tallaght Garda station under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
