Galway student puts Leaving Cert notes up for sale

An enterprising Galway student is looking to get a fiscal return on the time he spent studying for his Leaving Cert.

Cillian Fahy from New Quay in County Clare has put his school notes up for sale through Ebay.

The proceeds will help finance the 18-year-old's third-level education.

Prices for the extensive notes, and a number of books from six subjects start at €40, and the auction is due to end just after midnight on August 31.
