FG wants to clamp down on cowboys

Fine Gael wants to stamp out so-called cowboy clampers.

Rogue clampers could be jailed for up to five years under new proposals published today.

Fine Gael’s law would forbid unlicensed operators from clamping cars and set up an independent appeals process for motorists.
