Priest: Ten-year-old children taking heroin in Limerick

A priest is sounding a warning about heroin use among children as young as 10 in Limerick.

Father Joe Young is a former parish priest in the Southill area of the city.

He believes young children are being introduced to drugs by dealers who use them as drug mules.

Fr Young has said: "The public is in denial about the extent of heroin use in Limerick."
